My hope is that in my workshops you can make a positive connection with your creative soul; let go of what is holding you back and just create.

My name is Sharen Chatterton. I am an intuitive, creative, mixed media artist.

I absolutely love sharing my gifts with others, being available for you, bringing my process to you step by step, and then allowing the space for you to make it your own journey.

It’s all about your journey, what color, what technique, what caution will you throw to the wind, when creating art with me.

Let me provide you with the opportunity to explore your creativity and feel free to allow that creative energy to flow into your life.

Being a creative guide to each person I teach, giving each that opportunity to reach deeper into their creative reservoir and express themselves through their art, is my purpose. It is so fulfilling to see each of my creative gypsy’s overflow with creativity and experience that time of art Zen! Being creative, coming up with ideas for art pieces and sharing them, is my Zen time. Allowing space for your journey of creative self expression is even better Zen time.

My Workshops, provide a place for you to choose your colors, your words, they allow you to express your unique self, explore my bag of tricks and techniques and then use any or all that you choose.

Our art can take the form of a visual art journal page, a Visual Art Book, raw canvas, watercolor paper and so much more in between.

As a teacher, I believe that being creative is a choice and anyone who chooses to take that leap into feeling free to express their artistic abilities, with me, will have fun and make their own unique art.

In my workshops, I want you to enjoy the meditative properties of doing art. It is an opportunity to ignite your creative energy and let it flow through your art and your life.

As a biology major, I have a great appreciation of nature and I bring much of the beauty of the designs, images and colors found all around us, into my pieces.

As an artist, I endeavor to express my love of life in each of my pieces.

My husband, our three dogs, enjoy spending time in our 1925 renovated home and we enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, smore’s by the fire and walks in nature. I love creating art, teaching classes and throw in the vast beauty of the natural world around us, my life is good!

My goal in every workshop, is to create a safe place to experiment with art, there are no rights or wrongs, there is only your personal journey.
